He earned his Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from Texas A&M University, USA, and has over three decades of experience in research, teaching, and academic leadership. He has held several distinguished leadership positions, including Department Chair, Director of the Graduate Institute of Medicine, and Dean of the College of Human Ecology.
