ItalyItalo Cesidio Fantozzi is Adjunct Professor for the course Industrial Plants at the Department of Enterprise Engineering, University of Rome Tor Vergata. Professor Hamzah’s research expertise spans corporate brand management, including product, service, employer, and social media branding; corporate identity, image, and reputation; consumer behaviour and psychology; as well as leadership and wellbeing in organisational contexts. Her scholarly work explores the interactions between brand performance, consumer decision-making, and organisational outcomes.
I have been actively engaged in the development sector since 1990, with a particular focus on access to finance. My areas of expertise include market research, microfinance product design, microenterprise promotion, conducting financial education training, impact studies, business plan development, HR development, policies and training curriculum design for financial cooperatives/credit union, and training delivery for Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), cooperatives, and developmental organizations and institutional assessments. I have provided technical support to various stakeholders, including microfinance banks, cooperatives, village banks, self-help groups, microfinance networks, NGOs, and training institutions. I have conducted research on key topics such as access to finance, women's empowerment, risk management, and impact assessment, and disseminated the findings at national and international forums. I have contributed sustantially for institutional development of financial cooperatives and MFIs in Nepal, India and PNG Over the years, I have worked with numerous donors and microfinance support organizations, such as the Canadian Centre for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI), Center for Microfinance (CMF), World Bank, German Technical Cooperation (GIZ), Asian Development Bank (ADB), United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), Central Bank of Nepal, Mercy Corps, Sambridha Pahad, and Business Finance Consulting/KFW, Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiyasanstha Ltd. (SKBBL), a national level microfinance institution. My professional contributions have supported development initiatives in Nepal, Laos, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, India, and Sri Lanka. I have had the opportunity to visit the countries such as Bangladesh, Thailand, Singapore, USA, Germany, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands.
