Prof. Bing-Huei Chen is a Distinguished Chair Professor in the Department of Food Science at Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan. He earned his Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from Texas A&M University, USA, and has established an outstanding academic career spanning more than three decades in research, teaching, and academic leadership. Throughout his career, he has served in several prestigious positions, including Chair of the Department of Nutrition and Food Science, Director of the Graduate Institute of Medicine, and Dean of the College of Human Ecology at Fu Jen Catholic University.

Prof. Chen's research expertise encompasses food chemistry, lipid and pigment chemistry, instrumental analysis, food toxicology, functional foods, botanical drug development, nanotechnology, and food nanobiotechnology. His pioneering research has made significant contributions to the development of functional food ingredients, bioactive compounds, and advanced nanotechnology applications for improving food quality and human health. He has published over 250 peer-reviewed research articles, authored several book chapters, and has received thousands of citations, reflecting the global impact of his scholarly work.

In addition to his research accomplishments, Prof. Chen has received numerous national and international honors for his outstanding contributions to food science and technology. He has also served in editorial leadership roles for several international scientific journals and actively contributes to the advancement of academic publishing through peer review, editorial services, and scientific collaboration. His extensive experience, distinguished research record, and commitment to academic excellence make him a valuable addition to the Editorial Board of our journal, where his expertise will further strengthen the journal's quality, integrity, and international reputation.

Dr. Riyanto Teguh Widodo is a pharmaceutical scientist and academic in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He holds a Ph.D. in Medicine from Universiti Malaya and postgraduate qualifications in pharmacy from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia.

His research interests include pharmaceutical formulation and technology, novel drug-delivery systems, pharmaceutical excipients, nanocarrier-based delivery, transdermal and oral drug delivery, and development of innovative dosage forms. His research has included work on nanoparticles, niosomes, lipid-based delivery systems, pharmaceutical excipients, and controlled drug-release formulations.

Dr. Widodo has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and collaborative research projects focused on advancing pharmaceutical formulation and drug-delivery technologies. His research aims to improve drug absorption, delivery efficiency, formulation performance, and therapeutic applications through innovative pharmaceutical approaches.

I am Olena Saliy, I received my PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1999 from Zaporizhia Medical University, Ukraine. From 1993 to 2004 I worked at Zaporizhia Medical University at the Department of Drug Technology and Dosage Forms as a lecturer and a scientist in the department's laboratory. From 2004 to 2024 I worked at pharmaceutical factories in Kyiv as a director of development and research. Due to the war in Ukraine, I moved to Poland (Warsaw) in 2024 and worked remotely until February 2026 as a director of regulatory issues and registration of medicines of a Ukrainian enterprise. From 2017 to 2024 I worked in parallel as an associate professor at the Department of Industrial Drug Technology at the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, Kyiv, Ukraine. I was the Guarantor of the Industrial Pharmacy educational program. Conducted active scientific activities in the laboratories of the department and the research laboratory of the pharmaceutical enterprise. I am an active researcher in the fields of developing formulations of dosage forms based on small molecules, technological processes, in vivo and in vitro efficacy studies. To date, I have published over 150 peer-reviewed scientific articles, 6 patents, and am the author of 6 articles in the Pharmaceutical Encyclopedia of Ukraine. Since February 2026, I have founded PharmaReg Consults SO in Warsaw (Poland) and conduct expert activities in pharmaceutical sciences, education and research in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Admassu Assen Adem is an Ethiopian pharmaceutical scientist and researcher with academic and research expertise in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmaceutics, drug delivery, natural products, and pharmaceutical formulation. His research has contributed to the development and characterization of pharmaceutical materials derived from natural sources, with particular interests in plant-based compounds and advanced formulation technologies.

Dr. Adem has been associated with pharmaceutical research and academic institutions in Ethiopia, including the School of Pharmacy, College of Health Sciences, Addis Ababa University. His doctoral research focused on the development of nanoemulgel-based delivery systems for phytoceramides and essential oils with mosquito-repellent activity, reflecting his interest in innovative pharmaceutical formulations and topical drug-delivery technologies.

His scientific work includes research on the structural characterization of plant glucosylceramides and ceramides using advanced analytical techniques, contributing to research on sustainable plant-derived pharmaceutical ingredients and their potential dermal applications. He has also contributed to research investigating natural pharmaceutical excipients, including the evaluation of Aloe weloensis mucilage as a pharmaceutical suspending agent.

Through his research activities, Dr. Admassu Assen Adem has demonstrated a strong interest in the application of natural resources and modern pharmaceutical technologies to address challenges in drug formulation and delivery. His areas of research include pharmaceutical technology, natural products, plant-derived pharmaceutical materials, topical and dermal formulations, nanoformulations, and drug-delivery systems.

Dr. Adem continues to contribute to pharmaceutical research through collaborative scientific work and the development of innovative approaches that connect natural products with modern pharmaceutical science.

Dr. Grandhi Srikar, M.Pharm., Ph.D., is an academic and pharmaceutical researcher serving in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology and Research (Vignan Deemed to be University), Vadlamudi, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. His research expertise focuses on novel drug delivery systems, pharmaceutical formulation, pharmacokinetics, and bioavailability enhancement.

Dr. Srikar has contributed to research involving advanced nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems, targeted therapy, controlled-release formulations, and pharmaceutical analytical methods. His recent publications include research on chitosan–xanthan gum-based nanoparticles for targeted delivery in irritable bowel syndrome and analytical methods for pharmaceutical drug combinations.

Through his academic supervision and research activities, Dr. Srikar contributes to the development of innovative pharmaceutical technologies aimed at improving drug efficacy, delivery, and therapeutic outcomes.

Min-Soo Kim is a Professor in the College of Pharmacy at Pusan National University, South Korea, specializing in the field of physical pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. He obtained his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Chungnam National University and has progressed through academic ranks from assistant professor to full professor at Pusan National University.

His research focuses on drug formulation and delivery systems, including sustained and controlled-release technologies, micro- and nanoparticle development, and solubilization of poorly water-soluble drugs. His work also covers areas such as pharmacokinetics, bioequivalence studies, and advanced pharmaceutical technologies like supercritical fluid processing.
