This policy explains how to make changes to factually inaccurate, typographical, or other readily understandable errors in an article. The policy extends to all articles of Scholarly Summit.
Initiating Corrections: Revisions may be made at the instance of the author(s), editorial team or from individuals who come across a possible problem. Authors are advised to come forward to the editorial team if they find any corrections which are required immediately.
Submission Of Corrections: These should be made in writing to the editorial team through the email or by filling an online correction form in the publication’s website.
All correction requests for the articles published will be analyzed by the editorial team for the possible validity and relevance. If a reader points out an error, the Car editorial team will follow through an independent check.
Correction Decision: As for the correction request, the decision whether to approve or decline it will be made by editorial team. In case of acceptance, it will be effected as follows, depending on the type of mistake involved.
Correction Implementation: Corrective details will be made in a positive manner and effectively. In future, the corrected version of the article will be posted to the website of the publication and a notice about the correction will appear at the beginning or at the end of the article.
Communication: The author(s) will be also notified of the correction and its execution. However if the correction is to be made by the reader then, the news agency will inform the reader about the course of action to be taken on the correction to be made.
Record Keeping: All the corrections made will also be recorded for the organization’s internal use in a log format giving details of the correction, the date of correction, and the people involved in the correction process.
CrossMark Link: Selecting CrossMark logo will inform you on the status of a document as well as provide other record of the document in other journals.
